Picking up

I wonder if anyone still reads this blog. God knows I've been neglecting it terribly over the past . . . extremely long period of time. So, what's new here? Well, Colin finally moved back into the apartment yesterday, which means I'll have to start closing the bathroom door when I explosively evacuate my bowels. After many months of procrastination, I finally sent in all my paperwork to the NY State Department of Education so they can evaluate my Morehouse transcript and let me know if I can take the CPA exam. Having suffered through the worst part of living in a prematurely-opened building (and getting a few months of free rent out of the deal), Colin and I decided to get in bed with the devil (again) and sign on for another year. I started in a new group at work on the first of August, and so far I'm loving it - maybe I'll stick around for a few years afterall. The total fan count in the apartment has gone from one to four, with a possible air-conditioning unit planned in the near future. I inaugurated my one-year anniversary in New York City by finally trading in my North Carolina driver's license. I'm more or less officially "out" at work now. The parents got a puppy. I'm getting buff. I have to shave [my face] more often. Life is good. Life is sweet. Thank the Lord. It's time to eat.
